Here’s some of the visual work I did today, late night shifts are always quiet so we decided to change things round a bit. We wanted a party- like feel for the festive season, so I had the task of coming up with outfits for two mannequins and accessorising them. I added belts and jewel encrusted clutch bags for that glamorous feel-perfect for a Christmas/ New Year party! I have to upload the photos one by one as I am on my iPhone (and the tumblr ios app is terrible) but I am proud of what I have created today! Now off to bed!

For about two years I have designed my own jewellery and accessories, and sold them at local boutique markets in Portsmouth and Southsea. The collections have acrylic charms attached to vintage looking chains. Playing around with accessories is really fun, you can make it up as you go along and there is no pattern cutting or technicalities involved! I have received positive publicity and have really enjoyed doing this! Unfortunately I haven’t done much more lately, second year workload and cost really took it’s toll. Over summer I will probably look into selling these online or possibly at a market.
